A great football club is in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, whose hub is known as Lake City Football Club, it is located in Jagran Lake City University, Bhopal.

But footballers from not only Bhopal but from all over India come to play in this club and display their skills, due to which the team of Lake City Football Club has become a strong team. This club has gained a lot of fame in a very short span of time.

Which is winning almost all the matches of Madhya Pradesh. Currently this club is playing Madhya Pradesh League.

They are the current champions of MPPL of the 2023-24 season, which has given them promotion to I League 3.

This league is the biggest men’s football league in India, it is the 4th tier of the football league system which is below I League 2 and above the state league

History of Lake city football club

Lake city Football Club was founded by Jagran Lake city University in 2022 and with their hard work and dedication, this league became the champion of Madhya Pradesh Premier League

In just one year i.e. in 2023 and then Lake city Football played in the I League Season 3 of 2023-24 through Madhya Pradesh Association but due to their luck and better performance of the opposing team, they could not qualify and came second in Group A.

But in just one year of preparation, they achieved so much and after an excellent performance, they are preparing for the future and it is expected that they will achieve even greater achievements in the future.

It was established in 1934 in Sialkot, earlier its name was Freewill Sports Private Limited. After that this company moved to Mumbai, in 2013 this company moved to Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Along with sports clothing, it manufactures balls and many other different items.
